- we are the in crowd: rumor mill.
today i discovered this band called “we are the in crowd” i say ‘discovered’.. i dont mean i discovered them personally or anything, i just mean i found them today. i think i’ve heard the name before, through hearsay and i think i mightve heard them mentioned on the radio, but i haven’t actually heard any of their songs on the radio since.
anyway i’ve already decided that i love them and that they are amazing. theyre from new york (i think) and have a lead female vocalist. as soon as i started to listen to them on youtube, i knew as i scrolled down there would be lots of people saying they were like paramore,simply just cause they’re a band with a female vocalist. and there was,lots of comments about paramore. i personally think they’re nothing like paramore, they sound nothing like each other. if anything i think we are the in crowd sound abit like all time low. and they also have a male on shared-lead vocals too. the sad thing is any band which have a lead female vocalist will always be compared to paramore now. i love paramore,they are my favourite band. but this band are nothing like them. end of.
i think as a band they have great melodies & harmonies. im not a muscian but i always think its really hard for girls to lead a band and sounsd good. this girl does. she’s called taylor btw. yes ive already done abit of research. im in love with their acoustic of “never be what you want to be”..go youtube it!
id love to start hearing them on the radio, and it seems they’re on tour in the UK this month! their debut album is called “best intentions” which is out now in america. dont know if its out in the UK yet…but if it is ill be downloading straight away!
