now you’ve probably already heard of this beautiful woman, lana del rey! she had a big hit in 2011 with “video games” which was one of my favourite songs of the year, and i still cant get enough of it now! this song,”born to die” will be her next single,and already has over 8million views on youtube. she’s being named as one of the “next big thing” for 2012,along with a few other artists.

now i dont usually like “next big things” all that much cause i think they end up being overr-rated and over-played! for instance, jessie j. her songs are alright,but not that special are they? and as soon as i heard she was going to be the next big thing for 2011 i was uninterested straight away and knew she’d be overplayed.

anyway,back to lana, who this is about. video games was played alot on the radio,but i dont think it was overplayed! i just wanted to listen to it over and over,the same with this song. i think she’s beautiful, i love her mouth and the way she sings for some reason, and from looking on youtube i already love her fashion and how she performs! in my opinion she has a different,but amazing voice. i cant think of anyone else out there now who she sounds like.

so instead of calling her “the next big thing” she’s my “next best thing” i love her already! i wish her the best of success!
